Summer begins or NOT!

Well our summer in Michigan was suppose to start on May 31st. Well 4 days before this we were sitting eating dinner and a gentlemen comes to the door (so I make Rob answer). He was just stopping by to drop off lawsuit info about the house we are living in....It is being foreclosed on! Are you fricking kidding me! This was the first year in 6 that I was not going to move, so I had not started to pack anything. So in 4 days we had to find a new place to live. Well we went looking for places and went through one the next but they didn't take dogs. We finally got a call from the management company and they really wanted to keep us as tenants so they worked with another couple to lower their rent to a hundred more than what we were currently paying. The new place would have 4 beds instead of 3 so that was a bonus, they would take our dogs another bonus. So instead of canceling all of our flights the kids and I flew back to MI and Rob and his parents moved the house in 2 days. Things are all screwed up, because he could have started moving on Sat but no one told him and so he sat around for 2 days. Oh well it's done and I will have alot of organizing to do in August. Rob won't be back in Michigan until after his trainer meetings.

YEAHHHHHH! Allie has finally cut her 1st tooth (11 months). Now that the tooth is through she is figuring out how to talk a little, she say Mom, Dad, wow wow wow!, she waved at Rob and said see ya. I can't figure out if it was just sounds or if that is what she really said as it was in perfect context. She is eating more and more big girl food.. We had pancakes and cantaloupe for breakfast yesterday and she loves pasta and peas! She still not walking but wants to so badly.

Quinn went to his 1st dentist appt today and has no cavities. He did tell the dentist that he doesn't like to brush his teeth. So the dentist told him that he has little bugs living in his mouth and he needs to brush to get them out so they don't poop in there. We will see if this will help us at all. I went with a friend who has 2 boys that see the same dentist so it was alot easier on Quinn with all of them back there by themselves. He says he doesn't like the dentist but he sure was happy when he came out with his prizes.

just a little update

Well I am finally on the computer with both kids sleeping so I thought I would send a little update. We are still in Florida getting things "in order". We will be heading to Michigan June 1st.

I am in the process of getting things together for a little yard sale. So I started in the garage, so now it is on to the house..... Oh where to begin there. We still have stuff in totes since our first move out of Muskegon. So finally I went through some of it and condensed it down, that was a task in itself, but it is done. Now I need to get through Rob's closet's, as I tried something new this year. I turned all my hangers backwards and anything that is still backwards this week is being SOLD! I so wish I would have did it for Rob's stuff ( I think he has 3x's mine). All in all things are moving along.

The kids... Quinn is a riding machine, He can start, ride, stop all by himself now so his life is good. We go for nightly bike rides now.
Allie- Oh Allie. She is more of a monkey than Quinn ever thought of being. She has decided that she does not like to sit in her walker so she just climbs out. Oh that's not it she can also climb in! It would not be so bad but my WHOLE house is tile, so I have to be on top of her every second. My next fear is that she will try to climb out of bed. I am so not ready for her to be in a big bed. So far so good on that matter. I just really need to come up with something to put by there so if she does decide to climb and fall it won't be to the tile.

Our house in Muskegon is STILL for sale. So if anyone knows of someone looking please pass us along.

Look at what I learned!

This is a bit long but cute. Quinn has learned to ride his bike without training wheels. I tried about 2 months ago and it was not worth the head ache so yesterday I asked if he wanted to try again and on the first try he was off and riding. He has a hard time starting but can stop OK.

Allie is now standing at tables & things, she is a master at "army crawling" around the house. At the rink she does not want to stay in the kids carpeted area she wants to be on the cement floor where all the action is......

Quinn is Quinn no really new news on him..... Just a loving big brother that is a little father hen.

The Hockey season is coming to a close in less than a month. The humidity here in Florida is starting to pick up but not that bad yet. I am not looking forward to the really hot weather. We will probably head to Michigan in June. Nothing is set in stone.

WOW 2 months gone by already...

Ok sorry for those of you checking in on us. It has been VERY busy. Christmas was fun, Quinn loved it. The biggest thing was that he wanted a Helicopter (that santa from team xmas party) promised he was putting in the sleigh. Well I did not have one for him so a week before xmas I am trying to find a RED Heli. NO luck but I found a blue one that I hid in the cart at walmart one day. So we get in the car and I ask Quinn would it be ok if santa brought a blue heli instead and his response... YEA MA JUST LIKE THE ONE YOU JUST BOUGHT. I was floored as he made no comment when it was in the cart that he seen it. So I had to deny that I bought it. Then christmas morning the little shit says Santa bought this from Walmart.

We have been battling the colds here. They just keep passing it back and forth, but I think we might be on the mend. I am crossing my fingers.

Allie is now almost 8 months.. And on the move. She does the army crawl but can make it all the way to the back of the house. So I have spent the last week "ALLIE proofing" the house.

My sister Heidi came and visited us on a spur of the moment. While she was her we took her to Busch Gardens & Ikea.

Over ALLSTAR break we went to Magic Kingdom & Epcot. Thanks to Laura & Simon for the help :). Quinn and Rob had a blast riding all the rides while Allie and I hung out watching (and sleeping). Quinn had a serve Ear ache and had to have a shot the day we went to Magic Kingdom but he still wanted to go and did not complain once that his ear hurt. Allie and I got sick the next day but we all were troupers and had a great memories made at disney.

Rob is on a week long road trip and I can't wait for it to be over. I finally have a night that both kids are in bed before 9pm and have time to myself.

We will be heading to Michigan Feb 13-23 and Quinn and I can't wait to play in the snow.
